I. Brief Introduction

China Medical University (CMU) is one of the top ten medical schools in China. It is a university with a history of more than 70 years. CMU started as the Military Medical School and Health School of the Chinese Workers¡¯ and Peasants¡¯ Red Army and later merged two medical schools in Shenyang£ºthe governmental Shenyang Medical College and the former private Liaoning Medical College, both of which have a history of about one hundred years. CMU occupies a total land area of 549,000 square meters, and the building area is 629,000 square meters.

CMU now has 27 colleges, 49 disciplines or specialties offering doctoral degrees, 61 disciplines or specialties offering master¡¯s degrees, 11 specialties for undergraduates and 10 higher technical specialties. CMU also has 3 affiliated general hospitals and 1 dental hospital with a total of 6,469 beds. The number of CMU staff now is 8,864 and 83.8% of them are professionals with various specialties. The total number of registered students is now 26,546. Among them, about 400 are international students from more than 40 different countries and regions such as America, Canada, Columbia, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, etc.

The library has a collection of more than 1,000,000 volumes. It is the central library of the National Medical Literature Resources Sharing Network of the Ministry of Health in the Northeast of China. It is also the northeastern hub of the Chinese Medical Information Network and a national medical science and technology referee unit for checking novelty or plagiarism.

CMU has established good exchange and cooperative relations with 66 institutions in Japan, US, UK, France, Russia, Korea, Canada, Australia, Italy, Denmark and other countries or regions. So far, 260 internationally famous experts have been given honorary titles by CMU, and its staff have been sent abroad for research and advanced training for 4,300 person/times. Currently, 51 international cooperative projects are in operation at CMU.

II Admission information:

1. Recruitment Categories and Application requirements
1) Undergraduate (in English medium, duration: 6 years): The applicants who wish to pursue an MBBS degree in our university must be gradates from high schools, be above 17 years old, both physically and mentally healthy. This program is completely in English medium and Chinese capacity is not required.
2) Undergraduate (in Japanese medium, duration: 6 years): The applicants must be gradates from high schools, be above 17 years old, both physically and mentally healthy.
3) Undergraduate (in Chinese medium, druation: 5 years): Those who apply for this program must be graduates from high schools, be above 17 years old, both physically and mentally healthy, and possess an HSK certificate at C level. the certificate HSK-C level. If the applicants do not have the HSK certificate, they should pass the assessment of Chinese proficiency by our university. Otherwise, they are required to learn Chinese for one year first, and then apply.
4) Visiting Student (1 or 2 years): The applicants must be graduates from medical colleges, with related working experience and corresponding certificates, both physically and mentally healthy.

2. Documents required
1) the filled application form, which can be downloaded from the website of CMU.
2) 12th grade transcript and high school leaving certificate; if the applicants have got higher educational experience, they need to submit the documents as well.
3) Phtocopy of the passport (from the first page to the first blank visa page).

3. Application process:
1) The applicants need to submit all the required documents by fax or e-mail.
2) After check the documents, CMU will send the scanned copy of the Admission Notice.
3) The applicants need to pay the application fee 800RMB or 120 USD.
4) The JW202 will be processed and mailed to the applicants together with the admission notice.
