  2008 Academic Exchange Seminar on Internal Medicine and Nursing of Returned Sasagawa Medical Scholarship Trainees was held in our university.




2008 Academic Exchange Seminar on Internal Medicine and Nursing of Returned Sasagawa Medical Scholarship Trainees was held in the conference hall of the First Affiliated Hospital on Nov. 11th. Yin Dakui, a former Health Vice-minister and the president of Chinese Medical Doctor Association, Dong Degang, vice-chief of Health Department of Liaoning Province, Zhaoqun, the president of China Medical University, Ogata Takeju, president of Nippon Foundation, Adachi Isamu, chief-director of Japan-China Medical Association, Morioka Yasuhiko and Kuroda Hiroko, representatives from Japan and returned trainees across the country attended the seminar.

President Zhao, chairman of the Fellow-student Association of the Returned Sasagawa Medical Scholarship Trainees, delivered a speech. He expressed the gratitude to the Nippon Foundation, Japan-China Medical Association and Sasagawa Foundation for their support to Sasagawa Medical Scholarship. He reported the achievements and contributions that the returned trainees made in the disaster-relief work of Sichuan Earthquake. He urged the fellow students to make more contributions.

Ogata Takeju, Adachi Isamu, Dond Degang, vice-chief of the Provincial Health Department and Xuke, the head of the First Affiliated Hospital of CMU also delivered speeches.

Yin Dakui, a former Health Vice-minister and the president of Chinese Medical Doctor Association, Adachi Isamu, chief-director of Japan-China Medical Association and Professor Kangjian from CMU First Affiliated hospital made special speeches on the following topics, ¡°Uphold Humanism Spirit and Promote Harmonious Relationship between Doctors and Patients¡±, ¡°The Transition to Palliative Care of Cancer in Japan¡±, and ¡°The Current Development on Management of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Diseases in China¡±.

Returned Sasagawa Medical Scholarship trainees also made exchanges on the following academic topics, ¡°Inspiration from Cooperation by International Relief Medical Teams in Sichuan Earthquake Catastrophe¡±, ¡°Report on Randomized Clinical Trials of Traditional Chinese Medicine: Investigation and Practice¡± and ¡°Clinical Utilization of Ultrasonics in Cardiac Myxoma¡±.
