Deng Yan

Graduated from stomatology department of the Shanghai Second Medical University and has been working in China Medical University after graduation. Promoted to professor in 1990 and enjoyed special allowance of the state council. Being graduate student's(master's) tutor and has fostered 28 graduate students. Has published more than 30 papers in national first-class journals and professional core journals, one of which received the Special Contribution reward of American Pediatric Association. Studied in USA as visiting scholar for half a year in 1992. Visited Korea in 1997 and visited Japan for international academic exchanges in 1998.

Research project:

1990-1994 undertook the Ministry of Health's "the foundamental and application research of the third-generation rare earth permanent magnetic matrial used in orthodontics"

Undertook the municipal Science and Technology Commission's and optional subject: the experimental studies on the changes of the microuessel in periodontal membrane after various orthodontic forces.

Founding cephalometric data base of adult with normal occlusion in Shenyang area.

Being head committee member of Chinese Stomatological Association Shenyang brounch and editor of Chinese Journal of Stromatology , Chinese Journal of Orthodontics and Chinese Journal of Dental Material and Devices
