Professor Xingjia Yao,director of Preventive Medicine Institute of CMU,director of the Department of Child and Adolescent Health of Public Health College,is a gainer of governmental special allowance of China.He studies chiefly the body composition of children and adolescents as well as the prevention and treatment of children simple obesity.Two projects of NSFC and two projects of the ministry were underken by him .He has won one three-grade Science and Technology Progress Prize of Shenyang City.Three monographs are edited by him.

He is a member of the standing committee of Child and Adolescent Academy of Chinese Preventive Medicine Association,and a specially engaged member of the editing and screening committee of the Journal of Chinese School Health.

Baosen Zhou, Ph D, MD, Professor of epidemiology, graduate program director,the vise-chief of the department of epidemiology, the member of the standing committee of China Anticancer Association on Cancer Epidemiology Research, the deputy chairman of Liaoning Epidemiological Association. Research Field: 1) The project about "the forecast of medical statistical data in feedback neural network" funded by National Natural Science Fund. 2) The project about "the prognosis of lung cancer in feedback neural network" funded by Health Ministry Excellent Young Scholar Fund. 3) The epidemiological and statistical parts of the National Key Project of the 9th five-year plan - "The Comprehensive intervention research among the population at gastric cancer risk in higher incidence region of gastric cancer".

Cong Qian Associate Professor of Epidemiology, Vice-chairman of Department of Epidemiology. Comittee Member of Endemic Diseases Experts Consultative Committee of the Ministry of Health of China. From 1995 to 1997 studied immunology and molecular biology in the United States. Awarded the honor of Excellent Endemic Disease Scientist by the Ministry of Health of China in 1998. Specialties: Epidemiology, Endemic Fluorosis, Endemic Arsenism, Free Radical and Diseases.

Professor Guojun Dai, Adavisor of China Health Ministry on endemic, Advisor of Fluoride and Arsenic Society of China, Vice chairman of Endemic Society of LiaoNing province, the member of editorial board of "China Endemiology" journal.

Xu Zhaofa Director of the Environmental Health Division, Professor, Advisor for Ph. D student, Secretary and Member of Health Toxicology Society, Liaoning Provincial Branch of Chinese Prevention Medicine Society.

Since 1978 Professor Xu Zhaofa has been doing the research work on heavy metal poisoning such as lead, cadmium, mercury and arsenic. The total of forty seven papers have been published. He also takes part in compiling work of a safety engineering dictionary. Three research projects he had attended had been rewarded before. Now the research project "studying the effects of several chelating agents on removing lead, cadmium and mercury" was given Liaoning Provincial thied-grade advanced prize of sicience and technilogy in 1999. In recent years, he went to America three times for advanced study and stayed almost 5 years in USA and 11 papers had been published in abroad, Since 1990 Professor Xu Zhaofa has performed 5 research projects.

Wang Bingxian Former director of the Environmental Health Division, Professor. Vice-chairman of Environmental Health Society, Liaoning Provincial Branch of Chinese Preventive Medicine Society.

Professor Wang has been doing the research work on the health effects of air pollution and biological effect of UVR for many years. He had permormed 11 research projects, especially recent he finished three projects funded by National Committee of Natural Science and one project funded by Pubic Health Ministry. Now the total of 37 papers have been published. His research achievement had been exchanged in many international conferences holded in Japan and USA. Application of UV-radiated lamp for health protection of rickets was given Liaoning provincial third-grade advanced prize of science and technology . In 1998, the research project "Effects of UVR on rickets, skin aging and DNA damage" was given second-grade advanced prize of science and technology by both Liaoning provincial and national educational committee.

Professor Zu Guodong ,is a leader of Department of Nutrition and Food Hygiene,School of Public Health,Chian Medicial University,director of nutrition institute and student nutrition improving institute in China. He study chiefly the children nutrition,two projects of Liaoning Province were undertaken by him.He has won two three-grade Science and Technology Progress Prize of Liaoning Province,edited more monographs and published more than 20 papers.

Professor Yanling Liu, the leader of academy in our department, graduated from Mathematics Department of Jilin University in 50's. He went to McGill University in Canada in 1986, and was trained in Biostatitics and Epidermiology Department. He is intersted in application of variable methods to medical research. Heis associate Chairman of Health statistics section, the Committee of Chinese Preventive Medicine, and associate principle editor of "Chinese Health Statistics"journal.

Youhong Jiang, associate professor, graduated from Haerbin Meical University in 1985, he was trained in Sapporo Medical University in Japan in 1995. Meantime, he published 2 paper in Japan. Now,he is interested in the research on etiology of digest tract cancer.

Zhi Chen, associate professor, graduated from China Medical University in 1985, was trained in Minnesota University u.s.andSouth Carolina University u.s., and published papers in some journals in u.s. she is interested in clinical epidermiology.

Professor Wan Bojian, was once the director of the National Association of Health Toxicology. Now he takes the chair of Health Toxicology Association in Liaoning Province and the member of editorial board of several academic journals. He visited many other countries such as the United States, Australia,Sweden, Italy,Japan, Korea, etc. to give lectures and conduct academic exchanges with the colleagues in these countries and was warmly welcomed.

Associate Professor Cai Yuan, is the Vice-Dean of the School of Public Health, the head of the section of Health Toxicology and the tutor of gratuate students for Master Degree. He mainly studies the mechanism of adverse effects on living organisms caused by heavy metals and undertakes six projects from National Natural Science, National Education Committee, the Ministry of health and international cooperation item. Over 30 papers writed by him published in the domestic and oversea academic journals. He also is the editor of National Plainning Textbook "The Fundamental of Health Toxicology".
