Li Xinyuan

I am Li Xinyuan. I graduated from medical department of China Medical University in 1963.I work as a professor and tutor for the doctorate students in pediatric surgery department in 2nd Clinical Hospital of China Medical University now. I am a member of Pediatric Surgery Committee in Liao Ning Province and a member of province medical accident identifying committee.

My research directions are the etiology study of tumors in children and clinical study of the thoracic diseases in children. I have completed the research in developmental law of confluence part of pancrease and biliary duct which is aided by National Nature Scientific Fund. I have participated in the Health Ministry Fund grant of X-ray characteristics in pediatric GER (Gastric esophageal reflux) and Province Nature Scientific Fund grant of the characteristic of pediatric tumor images. At present, I am in charged of the study on the developmental law of pediatric GER aided by Province Nature Scientific Fund. I have received 2 province rewards for the science and technology progress, 2 achievements for the science and technology progress and 2 city rewards for the science and technology progress.

Since graduation I have been working in the forefront of clinical practicing, teaching and researching. I have the ability to solve the complicated diseases in general and thoracic surgery. I have published over 70 articles. I have participated in writing Pediatric Surgery Manual, Emergency Treatment of Surgery and Gynecology , Diagnosis and Treatment of Rare Diseases, Pediatric Deformities as an editor or assistant editor. I have trained 13 postgraduate students and doctorate students, some of them have taken up advanced studies abroad. I am taking up clinical application of gastric bioelectricity pacemaker and gene screen of neuroblastoma now. I am preparing the research in genetic gene screen of pediatric choledochocyst.
