Professor Jianchun Sun

Position

Born on April 1st, 1942, male, studied in Ha Erbin Medical University in 1959. Graduated from the pediatric department of the China Medical University and was accepted. Worked in League Committee, health section of college center, infection section of pediatric department and editorial department of college center by and by. In 1974, he was transferred to the No.2 leader group office of preventing and treating endemic disease of the central committee of the Communist Party of China. He was back Party Committee of the second clinical hospital of CMU. Now. He is also the managing director of Liaoning division of committee of China Medical Association, editor of "Pediatric Critic Medicine", editorial staff of " Journal of Liaoning Medicine" and "Liaoning Drags and Clinic". Meanwhile, he is also the vice Chairman of director's conference of national third grade first class hospital.

Research Fields

During the time of taking charge of preventing and treating endemic disease, he took an active part in investigational work of large-scale epidemiology and etiology about bioglobochemistrical disease, such as Keshan disease, Kashin Beck disease, endemic goiter, endemic fluorine poisioning etc. He edited special works,treatise and scientific books more than 40 copies, 800,000 words. For example, Keshan Disease and Kashin-Beck Disease, Endemic Goiter and Endemic Cretinisim, Prevention and Treatment for Endemic Disease, Researching Practice of Prevention and Treatment and Analysis of Growth and Decline for Pationt's Condition for Keshan Disease in our Country. He also edited and shot films for "Keshan Disease", "Endemic Cretinism", "Thick neck and Silly Children" and joined in "comprehensive investigating group for Yunnan Chuxiong Keshan Disease" which was organized by academy of science. This investigation had been on 3 years. He took part in edition and publishing of large-scale comprehensive medical books, such as "Graphic Groups for Endemic Disease and Environment of People's Republic China".

Achivements

He gained the best prize of province, city, college. In 1990, he won the first grade of Health Ministry. In 1998, he obtained the first grade of Medicaine Scientific technology progress pnze from Liaoning Province and the third grade of govemment scientific technology progress from Liaoning Province. In 1993, he received the govemmental special subsidy granted to specialists who have prominent contribution by the state council. In 1999, he won the title of excellent Chairment of hospital.
