Wang Lijun

female, was born in May, 1940. I graduated from Dalian Medical University in 1964, and have been engaged in clinical and teaching work especially cardiovascular work in Internal Medicine for more than 35 years. Now I am Professor and Chairman in Department of Cardiology,as well as Tutor to guide Bachelor's postgraduate at No. 2 Clinical College, China Medical University. At the end of 1970s I launched some new techniques which held a lead in our province,including clinical cardiac catheterization, left/right ventricualr radiography, endomyocardial biopsy and double cardiac pacemaker in our hospital. In recent years coronary artery graphy , interventional therapy with coronary heart disease( CHD) and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) , and catheter ablation with arrhythmias have been developped.

At the same time I have been working on molecular biology studies on CHD , cardiomyopathy and hypertension while carrying out some studies on tumor necrotic factor (TNF) and interleukines in patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI) . Over 30 theses such as studies on relationship between pathologic changes by endocardial biopsy and arrhythmias, hemodynamic changes after interseptal rupture in patients with AMI were published respectively in Chinese Journal of Cardiology, Chinese Journal of Physiology and so on. On the other hand I attended a lot of national and international academic exchanges. I am a member of the team to tackle "seventh-fifth" key problems about pharmaceutical therapy with chronic obstructive pulmonarydisease (COPD) . Then I took participate in editting Semeilology. At present I am an Editorial Board member in Liaoning Medical Journal and Chinese Medical Journal, a member of the standing committee of Liaoning Branch in Chinese Medical Association, a deputy director of the committee of Shenyang Branch in Chinese Medical Association.
