Weilin Wang

Position
M.D. born in 1954, serves as the chief and professor of department of pediatric surgery, the 2nd Clinical College of China Medical University,tutor of doctoral degree, Committee Membership of Chinese Association of Pediatric Surgeons.

Research Fields
He has made outstanding contributions to the fields of duodenogastroesophageal reflux in pediatrics and functional assessment of fecal control in patients with congenital anorectal malformations.

Achievements
During his study above, he got two grants from the State Nature Science and two from the Health Ministry and Education Ministry and one from Liaoning government. He got prizes of the excellent science and technology awarded by State Education Committee and Health Ministry as well as Liaoning government. More than twenty papers were published by the central journals both international and domestic. His research papers were prized as excellent paper of young researcher of Liaoning province and Muto Medical Award of Gifu University, Japan. For his excellent achievements, Chinese Association of Pediatric Surgeons rewarded the Young Scientific Star to Dr.Wang. He was promoted to be a professor of pediatric surgery just 3 years after his promotion of associate professor. Dr.Wang made his advanced study abroad from 1990 to 1993.
