Wu Keguang

Professor Wu Keguang graduated from the department of Medicine, China Medical University in 1960. From then on he has been working in the second clinical hospital of China Medical University for 40 years, pursuing for the clinic, teaching and research in cardiovascular medicine. He is very experienced at treating cardiomyopathy, congestive heart failure, unstable angina pectoris, acute and old myocardial infarction and hypertension. In the past he was the vice-chairman of the department of internal medicine. Now he is the deputy director of the LiaoNing cardiovascular association, a member of the standing editorial board of the Chinese journal of practical internal medicine. He is also the associate editor of the LiaoNing jouranl of Medicine and a member of the editorial board of the LiaoNing journal of pharmaceuticals and the clinic. More than 40 theses was written by him, such as 'Diagnosis and Analysis of 10 cases Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy by MRI', 'Analysis and prognosis of arrythsmias in Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy', 'The changes of atrial natriuretic peptide in ventricular biospy of cardiomyopathy', 'Analysis of the results of dynamic electrocardiography in 40 cases dilated cardiomyopathy', 'Myxedemic heart disease', 'Aortic dysphagia', 'Diagnosis of chornic aortic dissection by MRI', 'Effect of ERCP on arrythmia and myocardium ischemic '. These theses have been published on national journals gradually. Professor Wu has also published many editorium ,such as 'The experience in treatment of dilated cardiomyopathy', 'Misdiagnosis of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy', 'Undetermined cardiomyopathy', 'Treatment of cardiovascular lesion in diabetes mellitus', 'Diagnosis and treatment of hyperthyroidial heart disease', 'The character of acute myocardial infarction in older man ', 'The progresses in treatment of heart failure' and so on . Among these theses the 'Analysis of the results of dynamic electrocardiography in old myocardial infarction' and 'The clinical pathological research on hypertrophic cardiomyopathy of a long large of Isoptin' received the second award of LiaoNing scentific association respectively in 1988 and 1991.
