Shilin Yang

Achievements
Professor Shilin Yang has accumulated a large number of material about phonation disdors during his research work for about 50 years and published 73 research papers . He obtained a prize his National Important Research Achievement in 19665 and three items Third-Grade prize issued by the Administrations in 1980s and 1990s. He trained 13 students who gained master's and/or doctor's degree. He obtained a certificate issued by the Famous Scientist Research Institute of America.

Research Field
The Larynx Laboratory he founded is the center of the phonation disorder in Liaoning Province. Many kinds of laryngeal frame-surgery and microsurgery are being done here. The acoustic and molecular biological research of laryngeal cancer and all kinds of precancerous diseases and the histochemical and immunohistochemical research and electromicroscopy of the physiological and pathological laryngeal muscles will be our main research work.
