Yin shu-guo

Yin shu-guo, a celebrated ophthalmologist, professor, supervisor of master's degree graduates of No. 2 clinical college of China Medical University, standing committeeman for National ocular trauma, occupational ocular diseases and plastic committee of China Medical Association, and editor of Journal of Ocular Trauma and Journal of Pharmacology and Clinical Medicine. In 1962, he graduated from the department of Medicine of China Medical University. And from then on, he has always been engaged in medical treatment, teaching and academic research of Ophthalmology up to now.

One of his majors is ocular trauma. He has made great achievements in the research of mechanism of cornea neovascularization and repair induced by alkaline burn, and the papers included "Autoradiographic study of cornea repair induced by alkaline burn", "Autoradiographic study of cornea neovascularization induced by alkaline burn", and so on.

The second is the treatment of ptosis by surgery. For about 15 years, he has studied various effective methods and together with all the department colleagues, performed more than 2000 operations, which has improved the result of such surgery. Moreover, several papers about this field have been published and the views of the following thesis was first proposed in China, which included "The severe muscular dystrophy congenital ptosis used to be treated by lavator palpebral superiors muscle resection (1987)", "Surgical treatment of children congenital ptosis (1992)", "Comparison of two operations for the treatment of children congenital ptosis (1995)".

In short, he has carried out one academic project sponsored by Science and Technology Committee of Liaoning Province, and received two scientific research awards. The methods of ptosis surgery has reached the advanced level of China and acquired the third degree of Science and Technology Progress Prizes of Shenyang.
