Yuan Zhuang

male, born in 1937, Professor of Pediatrics, Vice Chairman of Shenyang pediatric association of Chinese Medical Association, Vice Editor-in-Chief of the pediatric emergency medicine journal and Managing Editor of the Chinese journal of practical pediatrics. He graduated from medical department of China Medical University (CMU) in 1961.

After graduation he has been working in pediatric department of the 2nd affiliated hospital of CMU majoring in the works of the clinic and research on children respiration diseases and pediatric emergency medicine. He has profound clinical experiences on the diagnosis and treatment of children respiration diseases and pediatric emergency medicine, and enjoys national reputation. He is often invited by the hospitals in Liaoning Province and Shenyang City to consult with some rare cases about diagnosis and treatment. He contributes a lot to children respiration diseases and emergency medicine especially to diagnosis and treatment of infant and children with multiple organs failure of severe pneumonia which was rewarded for the science and technology development prize by Liaoning province government in 1997 and suggested by Health Ministry of P.R.C to be one of the items being popularized in china. He published about 40 papers on Chinese pediatric journal and other journals, and as editor-in-chief and vice editor-in-chief respectively wrote 2 pediatric books titled comment on diagnosis and treatment of Pediatric emergency Medicine and the collection of Chinese Pediatric experts experience.
