Foreigners are NOT exempted from the law
l Students must keep their residence permit up to date. Residence permits should be renewed a month before they expire. Failure to do so may lead to fine and other punishments.
l Students must register with the corresponding local police authority every time they come back into the country.
l You might face punishments such as fine, deportation or both, if you work while on student visa.
l Gasoline operated vehicles must be registered and licensed through the appropriate authorities.
l Gasoline operated motorcycles are strictly prohibited on the campus.
l Public gatherings are not allowed without the permission of the proper authorities.
l Drugs such as: marijuana, cocaine, amphetamine and etc are not allowed. Usage of drugs will lead to mandatory rehabilitation and prison sentences, while .possessing or dealing drugs may lead to serious prison sentences, or even death penalty if convicted.
l Weapons such as guns and replica guns are strictly prohibited in China.
l Students are not exempted from custom charges when they order merchandise from abroad.
l Students are obliged to cooperate with police authorities if asked to do so.
