Cultural Night

Place : IES Building
Time : 5 pm to 8 pm
On this day a cultural night was organised for students whereby different cultures were portrayed through food, music and attire.
A total of 25 students turned up and enjoyed the time together sharing about their culture.
The event commenced by a brief introduction of culture and it is significant. Followed by the first round of modeling and a poem recited by Alpha and Zuhura dressed like an Egyptian Pharaoh and Princess, presenting the Egyptian culture.
The models exhibited their cultural looks in the second round. And were awarded for their performances.
The following are the list of awards being given:
Elieshi - Queen
Astride - Most confident
Mercy - Perfect catwalk
Alba - Best dressed
Rebecca - Miss personality
Biba - Lady Etiquette
Erica, performed a traditional dance from Burundi, while David played a Cameroonian traditional percussion instrument.
The students moved to the activity room to watch a short clip about Egyptian Culture. Food brought by the students for sharing was served soon after the clip.
