First Aid

Time : 2 pm to 6 pm
On this day, a First Aid training was organized for students. A total of 15 students participated in the activity. A brief introduction about the activity was given by Alpha and videos about the topics to be explained were played.
The topics explained in these sessions were:
1) Alpha - Heat Emergencies
2) Lavanya - Cold Emergencies
3) Arishna - Bleeding Control & Management
4) Monisha - Musculoskeletal Injuries
To make the sessions more interactive, different techniques were demonstrated and each participant was given a chance to practice with somebody.
As a final session of the training, a brainstorming session was conducted and prizes were given to the most active participants.
We thank IES for giving us an opportunity to learn and share our First Aid Skills.
