During the visit of Professor Sean Gorman, the Student Space was officially put into operation.
The opening ceremony took place at one o’clock in the afternoon witnessed by three journalists from BBC.
Vice Dean of CQC, Professor Lei Sha anchored this opening ceremony. At the beginning of the ceremony, Professor Sha introduced the guests of this ceremony, then, Vice Dean of CQC, Professor Rooney made a brief introduction about how the Student Space developed from conceive to reality. On behalf of the students, Shi Yize talked about his experience and feelings as one of the designers. Dean of CQC Professor Yao and Professor Gorman gave a speech respectively. In the end Professor Gorman and Professor Yao unveiled the symbol of Student Space jointly, which means the Student Space was officially put into use.
