On June 26th, Dean of Medicine, Health and Life Sciences, Professor Sean Gorman, BBC film producer Stephen Douds, Director Michael Fanning and photographer Michael Quinn visited CQC. CMU Chancellor Professor Zhao Qun, Vice Chancellor Yu Xiaosong, Vice Chancellor Wang Ping met with the delegation at CQC building. Dean of CQC Professor Yao Jiang, Vice Propaganda Department Director Guo Lanzhi, Director of International Communication Division Pan Bochen, Dean of School of Pharmacy Professor Wei Minjie, Vice dean of CQC professor Rooney and Vice dean of CQC Professor Sha Lei attended the meeting.

Chancellor Zhao Qun gave an interview to BBC journalists and expressed his confidence in this cooperative education program.
Then, Professor Gorman paid a visit to CQC school building and experimental building accompanied by Professor Yao. BBC also filmed learning activity and after-school activity of our students.
In the afternoon, an opening ceremony for QUB-sponsored Student Space was held at CQC. This space will provide our students with the same leisure space in QUB. After the ceremony, Professor Gorman gave a lecture in No2 Lecture Hall to introduce QUB’s basic information and education philosophy of QUB.
In the evening of 25th, Professor Yao, Professor Sha, Professor Gorman and Professor David Rooney had a further discussion on education issues, so as to fully prepared for next term’s teaching activity.
The data collected during this visit will be the fundamental material for BBC to make a propaganda film about this program. This film will promote the fame of CMU internationally.
