Publishing House of Chinese Journals of Practical Medicine

Publishing House of Chinese Journals of Practical Medicine was established in 1987, which publishes five national core journals of medical science and technology, including Chinese Journal of Practical Internal Medicine, Chinese Journal of Practical Surgery, Chinese Journal of Practical Gynecology and Obstetrics, Chinese Journal of Practical Pediatrics and Chinese Journal of Practical Stomatology. The department in charge is National Health and Family Planning Commission of the People’s Republic of China and it is sponsored by the Chinese Medical Doctor Association and Publishing House of Chinese Journals of Practical Medicine. The Audio and Video Publishing House of Practical Medicine was set up in 1988.

Publishing House of Chinese Journals of Practical Medicine has always aimed at looking to the needs of the clinical doctors, highlighting the feature of being practical, paying attention to the combination of theory with practice and improving the level of clinical diagnosis and treatment. The editorial committee consists of many well-known medical experts in China. After 30 years of efforts, it has gained a great influence in the field of medicine, and has become very popular in the readers. Impact factors of its journals, which show the academic level of the journals, have been near the top in the journals of the same field. Its journals have been listed as the journals of Statistical Source of Chinese Science and Technology Papers by the Information Research Center of National Ministry of Science and Technology, and are also included in various international database. Its journals have been entitled the Top 100 Journal of China, the Excellent Journal of Science and Technology, the Top 100 Academic Journal of China and the Journal of Double Effect of Chinese Journal Matrix, and its journals have been granted many awards, such as the Nominee Award of National Journals, the Excellent Journal Award of National Health and Family Planning Commission (first session), the Best Practice and Innovation Award of Chinese Medicine and Health Media, the Best Practice Award of Medical Journals in Colleges and Universities of China, the Excellent Journal of Technology in Colleges and Universities of China, the Top 100 Journal of Science and Technology in Colleges and Universities of China, the Excellent Journal of Chinese Medical Doctor Association in 2015 and the Authoritative Academic Journal of RCCSE in China (A+). In the recent two years, its journals have also acquired awards such as the excellent website of scientific and technological journals in colleges and universities of China, the top 100 journal with influence in digital journals of medicine and health in China, and the top 100 journal with influence in digital journals in China, all of these awards are proofs of its distinctive features.

Publishing House of Chinese Journals of Practical Medicine believes in the idea of “strengthening the brand influence and creating new strategies of operation to achieve the sustainable development”, and pays special attention to both the distinctive features and the management of the journals, having achieved the aim of scientific and coordinated development in the quality, issuing and advertising of the magazine, which results in the increase of social and economic benefits.
