In order to exert the efficiency of limited science and educational resources, our university has established a system, which sharing the resource of experimental instruments within the university or relevant region. In 1998, our university improved the construction of key disciplines as well as the public technology supporting system and the experimental technology platform. At the same time, some laboratories were recombined and adjusted to establish the experimental technology center of China Medical University to develop school experimental technology supporting network system, with the school scientific research center as a leader, laboratories of college or department as the key member, professional laboratories of the key disciplines as network. In 2014, our university promoted the construction of the experimental center, and enhance its role in the school science research, the center renamed as the “China Medical University science experimental center”.
The school attaches great importance to the construction of scientific and experimental work of the center. The vice president, who is responsible for scientific research, focuses on the center work in the school annul plan, emphasizing“the center should play an important role in the aspects of scientific research work in the university, establish the concept of serving the faculties who are in the front line of scientific research, effectively complete the experimental technology development and the instruction work, truly become the cradle and base of advanced scientific research technology.” Since its running, the utilization efficiency of the experimental instrument and its related technology is increasing year by year, the center effectively serves in the field of scientific research, graduate education, undergraduate education in the university.
At present, the center provides scientific experimental platform and shares the public resource of experimental technology to the whole university and relevant region. Based on the undergraduate teaching and graduate teaching, the center improves the efficiency in the use of new technology platform to provide guidance to undergraduate students, graduate students and young teachers in medical experiment and related technology, and service to school research, teaching, technology development and other works. The center has 9 experimental technology platform: microscopic morphology, cell function, functional genomics, electrophysiology, sample preparation, protein separation and purification, trace element detection, miRNA detection and analysis, NK cells and immune cells in adoptive immunotherapy research. The center will focus on the development of scientific research and actively develop new experimental platform, continuously improve the level of service to promote scientific research in university.
