On the 22nd of April 2017, the Sports Section of the International Education School's Student Union organized its much anticipated event – The Inter-Class Outdoor Games
An event well attended by the students from all the batches and classes. More so, this occasion was graced with the presence of our administrators and advisors of various batches such as Ren Laoshi, Shi Laoshi, Liu Laoshi, Wang Laoshi, and Zhang Laoshi.
This fun event had awesome games and athletic events such as Sandwich the Ball, Tug of War, 6-Legged race, Caterpillar race among others. New this semester ,were the giant running ball race and wheel rolling race. The games were coupled with thrilling, teeth gnashing and adrenaline filled track and field events such as high jump, 100m, 200m, 4x100 to mention a few.
Not withstanding, these events unearthed and brought to light the obscured motor coordination skills in students and also brought an opportunity to crown the outstanding individuals and meritorious groups laurels.
Overall, the Chinese batch placed 1st, with 2016 class 1 coming strongly in 2nd place and 2015 class 1 and 2014 class 2 tying for 3rd place.
This event was without a doubt spectacular. Thanks to our cherished advisors for their presence and unerring support, to the Sports section of IES for their stupendous initiative and aWorld of Thanks to the students of IES for their active participation.
