At 13:00 September 23rd, 2015, CQC freshmen welcome performances and scholarship commendation meeting took place at No.1 report hall in multi-functional building. The guests include: Chancellor of CMU, Professor Zhao Qun, Dean of Medicine, Health and Life Sciences, Professor Sean Gorman, CMU International Communication Director Professor Pan Bochen, Vice Director of Student’s Affairs Division Kui jincheng, Dean of Foundation School of CMU Professor Sha Xianzheng, Dean of School of Pharmacy Professor Wei Minjie, Vice Dean of Foundation School Fu Weineng, Vice Dean of CQC Professor Rooney, Vice Dean of CQC Professor Sha Lei. Dean of CQC, Professor Jiang Yao anchored this ceremony.
During the meeting Professor Gorman extended his warmly welcome to 2015 new students. Meanwhile he congratulated the 2014 students who had registered in QUB program and distributed student cards to these students. Then Professor Zhao and Professor Gorman awarded prize to advanced collective and excellent individuals jointly. On behalf of the prize winners and new students respectively, Wang Yiqiao and Wang Ruochong expressed their determination to work diligently and keep moving towards their goals. In the end, Professor Zhao gave a speech and extended his wishes and expectation on the students. He also stated that CMU would offer a high-level learning environment consistently and forge CQC into a model of international cooperation project
After meeting, the students presented excellent performances that were highly praised by their audience with warmly applause.
