Accompanied by Professor David Rooney, the Vice Chancellor of Queen’s University of Belfast, Professor Patrick Johnston Visited China Medical University (CMU) on August 4th，2014 and observed the progress of CQC. Chancellor of China Medical University Professor Zhao Qun met the delegation led by Professor Johnston and expressed his appreciation for the effort QUB had made on this cooperation program. Professor Johnston indicated that QUB would offer all possible resources to support this program and forge CQC into a model of international cooperation project. He also expected to enlarge all areas of cooperation between CMU and QUB.
After the talks, Chancellor Zhao Qun and other school leaders accompanied the delegation to pay a visit to the CQC school building and laboratory buildings of CQC. In the afternoon, the delegation visited Imperial Palace of the Qing Dynasty in Shenyang escorted by Dean of CQC Professor Bochen Pan and Vice Dean of CQC Professor Lei Sha.
This visit has enhanced the friendship between two universities and set up a solid foundation for CQC’s development.
