Professor Sean Gorman, Dean of Medicine, Healthy &Life Science headed a delegation with five members visited to CMU on 24th September, 2014. President Zhao Qun met all the members of the delegation and extended his warm welcome to the delegation. He praised that CQC had developed on the right track and expected further cooperation between two parties.
On 24th, accompanied by CQC Dean Professor Pan Bochen and school leaders, the delegation visited CMU campus and CQC school building. Then they were introduced to new undergraduates. After a presentation about QUB, Professor Gorman indicated that each student is a unique component of CQC, they may all get a chance to go to QUB for further education. The delegation also replied to the questions the students were interested in and gave small gifts to the students. In the afternoon Professor Pan and some school leaders held a further discussion about the ceremony to be held in November with the delegation members.
This visit has enhanced the friendship between two universities and set up a solid foundation for further cooperation.
