Ms.Marie McGivern, the headmistress of British Belfast City Urban Institute， held the exchange meeting with all the students of 2016 grade in classroom 210 of Science and Art Center in CMU after the opening ceremony “2017 China UK workshop: patient centered medical and health research.”
As soon as the headmistress entered the classroom, she gave a genial greeting to the students. During the meeting, the headmistress, firstly, showed the beautiful campus environment of British Belfast City Urban Institute and introduced its long history, including cultivating a large number of personnel for the Titanic construction. After that, from the students' point of view, the headmistressintroduced the prospect for the major of college, future development and employment direction in detail. "The enterprise needs the competent person", the headmistress uses this sentence to encourage students study hard, improve abilities and develop all—aspect.
After this meeting, the students knew more about Britain, they got deeper and clear understanding of their professional nature and future goal and direction.
