Outdoor Games 2018

The annual outdoor games was held on April 21,2018 which included the following activities;100m, 200, 400m, 800m, 1500m, 4x100m, 4x4x400m, shot Put, Triple Jump, Long Jump, Ball and Bucket, Jump Rope, and  Running Ball Race . The event was no longer interclass which made it more interesting because different year groups got a chance to form teams to participate with each other which helps to limit the segregation and builds a basis for more interactions with between students within the school body. The event was deemed successful as students which didn’t event register for events came on the spot to ask for extra registration for events. The events were competitive but also fun because it wasn’t always about winning- students really just wanted to participate and enjoy themselves.

Winners for each event were given medals; there were also refreshments which were both provided by the administration. The event was also entertaining as the Sports Section Created a playlist comprising of song of all genres from various countries. The reason for the outdoor games was to select students to represent IES in the annual CMU sports Day.
